Pictus Catfish
I have a couple of Pictus Catfish that have been great. The last few days I have noticed some strange habits.

I noticed one of the Pictus wasnt swimming around but not the other. I went to the tank and looked through the glass to see it was behind part of the decor in a hole that another fish dug. It swam out of the hole and was acting normal but as soon as I left it swam back to the hole.

Here is whats weird it swam over to the hole and turn around and slowly swam backward down into it. Then the other fish swam over to it and just kinda like guarding where the other fish back into then they will move and check out the other side.

I know they can be territorial if they find a place they like but I just thought it was strange. I cannot see anything wrong with either Pictus, I know guarding eggs is highly unlikely (but I have not checked)

Any Ideas?

thanks
